This young married couple, both pharmacists, hired us to inspect their first home in the suburbs. Now they were moving to St Paul, near Maclaster College, in a wonderful neighborhood of small-to-medium older homes.
“We used Good Havens before. He did a great job then, and a great job now. He was patient, took time to do a very detailed inspection, and a superb job of explaining all that went into his report.”
This former Navy officer was moving with his wife to New England where he was opening a wine bar. They needed a Time of Sale inspection.
“He offered me to accompany him on his inspection, which I did. That was a distinct benefit; his wealth of information on what to look for in a home inspection, and information on good preventative maintenance tips were extremely beneficial.”
This single young woman was buying her first home. Her Dad, though very knowledgeable, was located in another state and was unable to attend. She was a little bit scared at the prospect of a first home.
“He listened to my questions; made sure I understood what he was saying; told me several times to call with any other questions.”
This family was buying a home in the suburbs.
“He was super thorough, taking us around to point out things we should be aware of. A great listener. A previous house inspection consisted of a guy touring the house without me and then handing me a checklist when I arrived, so I was very pleased with Gary’s personable and personal service. He’s really safety conscious and knowledgeable about energy efficiency issues. I’m happy to say that since we’ve been in the house we’ve had no surprises whatsoever – what a treat!”
This young woman was buying a home in the suburbs. Her dad flew in from California to be with her.
“I was pleasantly surprised to have Gary as an invaluable resource. My father, a general contractor, accompanied us; he agreed that Gary noticed important details someone else might have easily missed or not taken the time to notice. Gary seemed genuinely interested in equipping his client with knowledge to properly care for the home.”
This family was about to sell a 1931 Duplex. They wanted an inspection before they put it up for sale.
“Gary arrived on time and was very courteous to us. We appreciated his style of educating us on why certain things should be repaired and time frames in which they could be done.”
This young man was buying his first home in an older suburb.
“I called Gary for some follow-up advice on some of the problems he had discovered and he was ready to consult. He was happy to spend a few minutes on the phone, even months after his work was done – a level of service few would be willing to provide.”
